To introduce myself: my name is Will Hines, and I am a teenager who currently goes to boarding school in England… my age will remain undisclosed (try to work it out from my writing), as I don’t think its really necessary for everyone out there to connect to what I am saying. I suppose I come from a good family; my parents have brought us all up well and in comfort. As the youngest of 3 siblings (one brother, 22, one sister, 24), I have developed into a jumbled mixture of their strongest attributes- some good, some bad- but I hope that I have turned out an OK person. My family is pretty talented: Dad works as a project manager for Shell, Mum teaches foreign languages (and holds the fort), Brother works for an advertising agency in London, and Sister works for a Charity in London as well. To note, the fact that my Dad works for Shell means that I am an expatriate child, which isn’t as bad as it sounds on paper (or computer screen) . It used to really get on my nerves, but I have come to terms with it now that I am close to being an adult… I currently live in Holland, a subject which I will no doubt expand upon soon, but as I said earlier, I go to boarding school in the sunny old county of Gloucestershire in England. Sounds thrilling, hey? Well, if you are falling asleep just from reading the name, then your instincts were correct: it really is as boring as the name sounds. This has long been a subject of contention between my parents and I: when they come over here in the school holidays, I want to be back at home in Holland, where things are way more exciting. Oh well- you can’t have it all, hey?
